My name is Tarja Kuoppala. I work for comany named Ixonos as a application developer. Me and my husband, Matti, have three children; Janne, Johanna and Joonas.
I have always loved dogs, but since we suffer from numerous of allergies, I had never dared to take one for myself. Still when I heard about this allergie-free breed I had to find out more about it.
Johanna had been beggin for a dog for years and I got to admit I got pretty interested myself. Of course there is no such thing as allergy-free dog, but after careful consideration,
testing and visits to bichonfamilies we decided to make contact with bichon frisé breed organization here in Finland. From there we heard about the breeder of our first two dogs.

Johanna and Joonas getting to know Vili
It didn't take us long to find a litter and soon we were heading home with a precius little puppy, wich was later named Vili (Ch Iisdogs Luciano). This stubborn, temperamentic, but still heartly puppy
stole our hearts at once and it was Vili that got us exited about dogshows. He did make a nice show career, got to admit. Nowdays this Int, Fin, S & N Ch is retired along with her daughter, Vilma (Iisdogs Natalie).
Vilma came to us about a year after Vili, being a total opposite to his father. Vilma is the most obediant, kind and smooth bichon I've ever met. She was co-owned with the breeder by a condition of one litter.
She never really shined at the ring, but did well enough to make that one litter for the breeder. This litter got born 2003. After that Vilma got two other litter for our own prefix.
The puppies haven't really beem showed in the ring or competed, but Sampo (WS Ani Skywalker) from the first litter has managed to earn one cert and three res-serts so far.

Feeding the A-pups
We got our prefix "White Snowfall" in 2003 after passing breeder's course in 2002. Prefix is a hard thing to come up with. We wanted it to tell about our roots here in north and it also had to fit with the breed.
Also there was the "slightly" limiting point that it had to be totally original: no one inside the FCI could not have the same. At one point it felt like everything was taken. So finally we came up with this one and it
felt quite suitable. Luckily it was also approved in Belgium.
About a month after our first own litter in 2004 Cheri (Leeward's Arctic Folly) arrived to the house. We had been planning for the third dog for quite a while and when I got a hint about this litter I had to call
Jaana Hellsten, the breeder. It only took one phone call from me to decide that Cheri would be just the right girl for our little pack. After two weeks we headed south and got our girl home.
Within time Cheri has developed to be a very special dog for me, a dog of my life could be said. She has a really adorable personality wich makes her really easy to love. Not to mention she has grown to be
much more beautiful and incredible dog than we could have ever hoped for. It only took her two years to gain titles Int, Fin, S & N CH, WW-06, PlW-06, EW-06! She also has several BOB, BOS and group placements and
when she was still compiting in the junior class she placed BIS3 in Rovaniemi's summershow.
Johanna fell in love with whippets and in September 2006 little whippet girl Frija, Sagramour Sachiko, arrived in 6 am train. What could be said about Frija? Well, she's a ture lady. Caring, friedly, warm and open. Loves childern and puppies. She cannot stand tactless men.
Our fifth dog came from our own d-litter. As being so cute and small Rosa has concured the hearts of each and every person that has gone trough our door. She is carefully wathed over by her mother, Cheri, and her dedicated babysitter, Frija.
I've learned and experienced a lot in my 9 years with dogs and I
hope that luck will keep following us in the future. Hopefully we will breed a big group of healthy, happy and beautifull bichons! I own a lot to my friends who have supported and helped me.
