This week I got post from Finnish Kennelclub: my kennelname has been approved! So now the puppies can officially be Sagafria-pups! To celebrate this, I added 7-weeks-old poses to the puppypage.

Yesterday at 03:17 Frija gave birth to her first puppy. At 04:11 the last had come out. Total was three girls and a boy. The mum and the pups are doing well and Frija takes her role as a mum very seriously. She hardly gets out of the litterbox at all.

However, I managed to take few pics of the puppies:

Frija was ultrasounded today and there is definately some puppy action going on in there. We didn’t even try to count them, all I need to know is they are there. The Vet, Jos De Rijk, said that there is more than one. I actually reconized one little heart myself!

Here is the newest bellypic. In this one it has been 45 days since the mating. I could swear she really isn’t that big, I have no idea how my camera made her look so HUGE.

p.s. that is Vili trying to get to the photo..

Last weekend Frija went to be mated to Cocu and I am pleased to say everything went well. I have to thank Cocu’s owners Tarja and Saija for everything! If any luck, we will soon have little pups running around.

As we were sitting in a train on our way home, it occured to me that it was almost exactly two years since I was travelling by train with Frija for the first time. It was the day I got Frija. I made her a nest of my jacket and she slept there almost the whole trip. She only woke up to eat and visit outside. I was so happy with my puppy and so extremely proud of her.

After that we have made numerous traintrips and with Frija it has always been that easy. I make her a nest on the seat and she sleeps there. She isn’t much bothered by other travellers or dogs.

Afther the mating Frija has been feeling veery pregnant. She sleeps alot and takes it easy, as she would have a big belly. She hardly agrees to go for walks. I guess she would like to be a mommy already?

So we have been experiencing snowstorms and I’m stuck inside since I caught a cold.

This is how it looked last weekend:

Due heavy snowfall I think we have twice as much snow right now. Dogs are of course very exited. I’m planning on building a doghouse outside, since it seems to be impossible to get little Rosa inside. ;) When she is in the house she spends half the time begging to go outside. Bichons should change their breed name to arctic lapdogs. I can’t imagine how they survive without any snow, they seem to love it so.

Frija has been dropping little hints, that she could be in season soon! Very exciting times!

I FINALLY finished my own pages! It took me a year, but they are in the internet now and ready to be browsed. :) I try to be more active with this one.

I also have some puppynews. Frija will be mated from next season and we are hoping to have some puppies in 2009. Check out the puppies-page!

I’m also planning to update the gallery with few new, cute Rosa-pics, runninpics and also I have few pics from Boden’s sighthound speciality. Check back in.. two weeks, maby? ;)
